They are intended solely to evaluate the fractionation spread (frac spread) to determine whether specific components of the natural gas liquids (NGLs), such as ethane, hold greater value in the natural gas stream compared to the NGL stream. It is important to consider that certain residue gas specifications may impose limits on the total allowable ethane content, which should be factored into this evaluation.
